How do I know if I need to waterproof my foundation?

Signs you need foundation waterproofing include: water seeping into your basement, visible cracks in foundation walls, persistent dampness or mould, a musty smell, and white powdery deposits on walls. Contact Aluneed LTD at 416-877-4751 for a free assessment.

How much does basement waterproofing cost in Toronto?

The cost varies depending on the method, size of the area, and extent of the problem. Aluneed LTD offers free estimates with no obligation. Call 416-877-4751 to book yours.

Does Aluneed LTD offer a warranty?

Yes. Aluneed LTD offers a Lifetime Transferable Warranty on all waterproofing work. This means the warranty stays with the home even if you sell it.

Are there government rebates for basement waterproofing in Toronto?

Yes. The City of Toronto offers subsidy programs for basement flooding protection upgrades including backwater valve and sump pump installation. Contact Aluneed LTD to learn which upgrades qualify.

How long does basement waterproofing take?

Most jobs take between one day and one week. Simple interior repairs can be done in a day. Exterior waterproofing requiring excavation typically takes several days. Aluneed LTD will give you a clear timeline before starting.

What is the difference between interior and exterior waterproofing?

Exterior waterproofing involves excavating around the foundation and applying a waterproof membrane outside — stopping water before it reaches your home. Interior waterproofing manages water that enters using drain systems and sump pumps. Both are effective depending on the situation.
